MSP News

The project will involve the addition of circuits that will recover a tantalum concentrate and will improve the quality of the final lithium oxide concentrate.

The contract term for this project is approximately 12 months and the design works have already commenced.

The project comes on the back of the successful completion in 2012 of the Chemical Grade Plant Expansion project by MSP for Talison Lithium, which involved increasing the plant’s production capacity to approximately 640,000tpa of lithium oxide concentrates.

Commenting on the award, MSP’s Managing Director, Mr. Peter McSweeney, said:

“The award of the EPC Contract is an acknowledgement of our long term relationship with Talison, and our proven ability to work with our Clients in delivering cost effective processing solutions.

We look forward to continuing to work with Talison on this, and future, projects.”
