MSP were engaged by Tiwest to provide engineering design services for the upgrade of the synthetic rutile plants activated carbon circuit to increase the recovery of the activated carbon by-product from 7,000 tonnes per annum to 23,000 tonnes per annum.
The scope included the upgrade of the existing process facility including civil works, addition of mechanical equipment, structural steelwork, platework, electrical and instrumentation, along with all associated detailed engineering, drafting and management to enable the effective completion of the project.
