Scope of Works

MSP were engaged by Talison Minerals to provide recommendations to provide a facility to house occupants during a cyclonic event at its Wodgina tantalite operations.

Following the Feasibility Study, MSP was then awarded the detailed design and construction of the cyclone shelter which encapsulated and fortified the existing camp administration facility and dry mess and made provision for ambulances, backup power, first aid facilities, accommodation and potable water to support 180 men for 48 hours minimum.
Project Achievements
  • This state of the art facility is believed to be the first of its kind on a remote mine site in the Pilbara region.
  • The project was completed within the $1.0m GMP contract value.
