MSP News

MSP Engineering Pty Ltd (MSP) is pleased to announce it has commenced commissioning of key Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI).

“We have commenced commissioning of stores warehouse, administration, security and the state-of-the-art control centre at the new facility in Kwinana.” said Mr McSweeney.

“It is in line with the forecast schedule and is critical to the project’s success as it is required for Tianqi’s operational team in readiness for commissioning.”

The key NPI has been delivered by Georgiou Group and Kerman Engineering over the past 12 months under a very tight schedule.  It has been delivered safely and is a major achievement to all involved.

Once complete, Stage 1 of the lithium hydroxide plant will produce 24,000 tonnes per annum of the highest purity, battery grade lithium hydroxide in the marketplace and will supply approximately 60% of the world’s battery grade hydroxide.

The project adds significant value to the Western Australian economy with its strong focus on local content and community engagement.
