MSP was engaged by Sons of Gwalia to increase product recovery from the Wodgina plant without increasing throughput levels.
The project comprised the construction of new facilities and modifications to the existing facilities including a new very coarse spiral circuit and recommissioning of inline pressure jigs on the existing coarse recovery circuit, a new table building dedicated to processing coarse concentrates, and recommissioning of the Falcon/MGS circuit to recover fines tail products.
The project also included relocation of existing workshop, maintenance and electrical offices, upgrade to expand the capacity of the existing enGen gas-fired power station, and minor equipment refurbishment associated with the Falcons, MGS and stack sizers.
